Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) - Ridge Meadows

Provided by Fraser Health

Patients who require medical attention within 12 - 48 hours but are not emergent.
Patients can visit the Ridge Meadows Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) for access to a family doctor, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, clinical counsellor, social worker and pharmacist.

The UPCC provides timely access to care for urgent, but non-emergency health concerns when patients are unable to access their primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) within 12-24 hours. The UPCC also serves patients who do not have a primary care provider as well as assisting them to find one.

Patients experiencing chest pains, head injuries or broken bones cannot be treated at the Centre and should always attend their local hospital’s emergency room.

Referral Instructions: If you are a resident of Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows who does not have a family doctor and you have complex medical needs such as frailty, mental health, substance use or multiple medical issues, you may be matched with a family doctor or nurse practitioner by visiting the Centre and waiting to be seen on a first-come basis. You may also be referred by a hospital-based health care provider for a follow-up with one of our physicians.
